Mexican 1899 Bayonet/knife
No markings. Wood grips held by two rivets with left grip marked ‘Pat Henry’ and the right grip marked ‘H 0148’. The press stud and release are missing possibly to make the bayonet into a knife. Fullered blade with some light sharpening. Leather scabbard with metal fittings and integral belt attachment.

US 1855 Colt Bayonet
Made by P.D.L. (P. D. Luneschloss, Germany).  Marked with serial number 1076 on the end of the pommel with a crown over 'R' over 'JA'.  One piece brass handle with leaf spring.  Patina on the handle and crossguard.  Long fullered yataghan blade marked with crown over R with patina overall.  No scabbard.  Needs a good cleaning.  Very rare.

Spanish 1858 Engineer's Bayonet
Toledo and date markings have been removed with serial number on the crossguard.  Brass handle with ornate pommel with socket attached which is missing the retaining ring.  Long unfullered blade with some stainging and light sharpening.  No scabbard.  Rare bayonet.

Greek 1877/03 French Gras modified bayonet  
This bayonet is a modification of the French Gras bayonet which would allow the piece to fit a Greek Model 1903 rifle. The modification included an extended muzzle ring with a smaller diameter of 14mm to fit the 1903 rifle and the back of the pommel was ground away.  Marked on the top of the blade 'Waffenfabrik Steyr' and dated 1877.  Non-matching numbers on the bayonet and scabbard.

Brazilian 2012 IA2 Imbel Fighting Knife
Marked with IMBEL – Indústria de Material Bélico do Brasil marking on right side of the blade.  Has dark green plastic grips with steel pommel with no mortise slot or press release.  Short unfullered blade with black oxide finish with cosmoline.  Green plastic scabbard with canvas belt loop and bianchi style attachment.  Comes with leg laynard cord and plastic storage case.  Exact knife as the Military model bayonet but has no rifle attachment mortise slot or press release.

Norwegian 1944 Police Bayonet
Marked 'EAB' (E. A. Bergs Fabriksaktiebolag of Eskilstuna).  Wood grips held by two slotted screws with press stud about 2 inches from end of pommel.  Double edged blade with about first 2 inches blued.  Metal scabbard with round frog stud.  Matching numbers 4070 on the bayonet and scabbard finale.

Danish 1840 Hirschfanger Bayonet
Dated 1842 on the top of the blade.  Solid brass handle with brass sleeve (for musket bar attachment) along handle with leaf spring release.  There is no mortise slot along side for this model.  No markings on the handle or blade.  Long slab blade with no fullers.  No scabbard.

German 1884/98 Dress Bayonet
1884/98 handle with long carbine style blade.  Blade marked Garantie Stahl (Guaranteed Steel).  Nickeled handle with wood grips held by two rivets.  Long carbine style blade with no sharpening.  Metal scabbard with about 40% black paint remaining.  Overall length is 362mm and the carbine blade is 242mm.  Very rare dress model.  For use as a dress or off-duty piece and not meant to be mounted on a rifle.

German 1871/84 Dress Bayonet
Made by Coppel with an 'H' on other side of ricasso and 'AC' on bottom of blade.  Wood grips held by 2 rivets with some light pitting and about 30% of nickel finish remaining on the handle.  Press stud sticks slightly but still works.  Long fullered blade with about 85% nickel finish remaining and rough sharpening on both sides of blade.  No scabbard.  For use as a dress or off-duty piece and not meant to be mounted on a rifle.

German Modified 1866 Chassepot Bayonet
Blade marked Mutzig and dated 1868.  Brass handle with leaf spring and press stud removed and marked 'SS' on pommel.  Top of handle marked 'PRO GLORJA PATRJA' MOMENTO ???.  Crossguard has been removed and replaced with brass floral acorn finales and elaborate clamshell with crossguard marked 'NOBLES' and the clamshell marked 'UBEUS' and the other side of crossguard marked 'SIWOW 1868'.  Chassepot blade with some staining and light sharpening.  German modified metal scabbard with inspection marking on oblong frog stud.  Very unusual customized piece.

German 1871/84 Bavarian Personalized Engraved Dress Bayonet
No maker.  Wood grips held by two rivets.  Red felt in mortise slot.  Nearly all nickel finish remaining on the pommel and crossguard.  Crossguard personalize to 'F. Kunbele 11 K 14 R'.  Short fullered double engraved blade with Bavarian 'In Treue Fest' on both side with floral motifs with nearly all original nickel finish and no sharpening.  Leather scabbard with nickeled fittings.  Brown Officer's style frog with no markings on the back.  For use as a dress or off-duty piece and not meant to be mounted on a rifle.  Very rare personalize Bavarian dress piece.

Norwegian 1860/1867 Remington Bayonet
The bayonet has a brass pommel and crossguard with wood grips held by 4 rivets with a lanyard hole through the top of the pommel with a leaf spring release.  Made by the Norwegian arsenal at Kongsberg (crown over 'K') with serial number 40175 on other side of blade.  Long fullered yataghan blade with no sharpening.  Leather scabbard with internal brass top and bottom fittings with about 1" shrinkage. The muzzle ring diameter is 19mm.

Dutch 1895 Artillery Bayonet
Made by Alex Coppel.  Wood grips with about 50% finish remaining on the handle.  Guard marked with serial number 5242 G with crown over L inspection marking on the blade.  T-shaped blade with about 70% blued finish remaining with no sharpening.  Engineer troops style leather scabbard with the bottom brass fitting missing.

Italian 1871/87 (Type U model) Bayonet
Made by Torre Annunziata.  Brown composition grips with a short leaf spring with a notch under the muzzle ring and no retaining nut on the end of the pommel.  Serial numbered on the crossguard.  Long fullered blade with some light sharpening.  Black leather scabbard with brass fittings.  The Type U model is quite scarce.

Belgium 1889 Sword Bayonet
Made by Alex Coppel in Germany and has Belgian inspection marking on the blade and 'V' in a circle on the crossguard.  Wood handle held by two spanner nuts and has been painted black on the crossguard and pommel.  Very long fullered blade with staining and light pitting overall.  Metal scabbard which has been painted black overall and throat is marked M.40 and is missing the throat screw.  Rare bayonet.

German Modified French 1866 Bayonet
A French 1866 bayonet that was used by the Germans for behind the line troops.  Made by Tulle and dated 1867 with serial number 12667.  Brass handle with German regiment marking 87.L.II.1.25 on the crossguard.  Yataghan blade with some staining and no sharpening.  No scabbard.

Argentine 1909/47 Navy Bayonet
1909/47 bayonets were made for the Navy at the Arsenal de Artilleria de Marina, Zárate (Naval Artillery Arsenal, Zarate) from 1950–55.  Navy marked pieces were marked 'ARA A.A.M.Z' with matching serial numbers Z 3375.  Only 3,500 were made.  Very hard to find in excellent condition.

Swiss 1914 Sawback Bayonet
Made by Elsener Schwyz (AKA Victorinox).  Wood handle held by two polished rivets with some loss of polished finish on the end of the pommel from rubbing against the leather frog.  Fullered on one side of the sawback blade.  Metal scabbard with about 50% black paint remaining and torn leather frog strap.

Swiss 1867 Sharpshooters Bayonet
Made by Gebr. Weyersberg, Solingen.  Brass handle with leather grips serial number 154 on the pommel with '23' on the end of the pommel.  The press stud is in the center of the right grip which is a very unique locking mechanism.  Yataghan fullered blade with some light staining and no sharpening.  No scabbard.  Very rare.

Swiss 1817 Sharpshooters Weidmesser Bayonet
Squirrel trademark stamp on the blade.  Brass handle with straight crossguard with mortise slot along the left side of the handle with metal leaf spring. Serial number '1' on the handle  Long 22.5" fullered blade with some staining and patina.  Overall length is 27".  No scabbard.  Rare.

Egyptian English 1907 Mk II Sword Bayonet
​Wood grips held by 2 screws with oil hole in the pommel with no hooked quillion.  Made after about 1914 when the hooked quillion model was no longer made.  These still typically had the original British markings with additional Arabic markings added.

Venezuelan Marto Explora Survival Knife
Made by Marto Brewer in Spain for use in Venezuela for Army and Special Forces.  These were also sold to the commercial market.  Metal handle and hand guard with removable pommel with compass and survival items still in sealed tube.  Serial number on the blade.  Black blade with sawback and wirecutter and survival info on blade.  Metal scabbard with canvas webbing and mirror.

Colombian Hunting Knife
Made by Indumil (Colombian Military industry) from a Steyr 1912 bayonet for the commercial market. Wood handle held by two screws.  Flattened muzzle ring and no mortise slot to prevent use on rifle.  Curved fullered blade with sawteeth on ~3" of blade.  Brown leather sheath with shortened leather string. Its a demilled bayonet and sold as a hunting / camping knife out of the INDUMIL arsenals and outlets.

German Modified Romanian 1893/1904 Bayonet
This is a Romanian 1893/1904 bayonet that has been modified by the Germans and had the muzzle ring removed.  Made by OEWG.  Has Romanian 'phoenix' symbol on one side of pommel and a marking of a '2' & 'G' in between 2 flags on the other side.  Serial number on the crossguard which is overstamped with J.REISS.  Pitting and staining on the fullered blade.  Green painted metal scabbard which is marked OEWG on the frog stud.

German 1916 Ersatz Bayonet (#17 model)
Carters #17 ersatz model which has normal 2 separate metal pieces welded together with the muzzle ring removed and a fullered blade.  Metal handle with no finish remaining.  Inspection marked on ricasso and top spine of blade.  Muzzle ring removed (rare conversion).  Fullered blade with some staining and light sharpening.  Metal scabbard with no finish remaining.  Rare ersatz model.

Carters #33 model has a solid tubular metal handle with filed off and frozen press stud.  Fullered blade with some pitting, staining and sharpening.  Metal scabbard with about 90% black paint remaining.  Rare ersatz model.
