Sold - Australian M9 Bayonet
Very similar to the US M9 Phrobis / Buck bayonet. BUCK sold 20,050 bayonets to Australia in the early 90's and is still in use today by SAS and elite infantry units. The markings are 'BUCK/188/USA' with an Australian broad arrow military proof mark stamped after the '188'. The scabbard has the normal 'BUCK' marking on the front but does not have the broad arrow mark. Fastex dated 1995. Very hard to find. Rarity: R2+ Condition: Exc Price: |
Japanese 1866 Chassepot Bayonet
The French 1866 bayonet is made by P.D.L. (P. D. Luneschloss) with Japanese characters along the fuller of the blade. Brass handle with some patina with serial number 1735 on the crossguard. Yataghan fullered blade with some sharpening, cleaning and sharpening. Japanese leather scabbard with steel fittings with patina. Very rare bayonet. Rarity: R3+ Condition: VG+ Price: $850 |
Japanese Special Purpose Type 100 (Paratrooper) Bayonet (LB-235)
Modified from a Type 100 bayonet and made in 1941-1942. This bayonet was designed during World War II for paratrooper use as an accessory for the Type 100 submachine gun and possibly for use with the Japanese Type 2 Paratroop rifle (take down model). Made by Toyada Automatic Loom Works under Nagoya supervision and marked on the top spine of the handle with serial number 9807 on the end of the pommel. Blued handle and shortened blade with no sharpening. Missing the fragile leather belt hanger and comes with a double strapped leather frog. It is estimated less than 1,000 were made. Japanese 1911 Modified Dutch Klewang Machete
Modified from a 1911 Dutch Klewang sword for use as a machete. Made by Hembrug with inspection marking on the other side of the blade and screw on the end of the pommel. N. Zealand 1873 Martini Henry Sawback Bayonet - 1st Pattern
This bayonet was made by Alex Coppel with no military acceptance markings for use as a Volunteer model. It has knurled leather grips held by 3 rivets with a leaf spring release with some light peppering. 18.1" long fullered sawback blade with some light sharpening and light peppering overall. Leather scabbard with steel fittings with some light peppering. Only about 2600 bayonets were made. Rarity: R3+ Condition: VG+ Price: $675 |
Russian 1936 Siminov AVS Bayonet
Very unusual bayonet with an unique locking mechanism to fit the Avtomaticheskaia Vintovka Simonova or AVS rifle (Simonov Automatic Rifle). Thin checkered wood grips held by one screw. Sliding handle which allows attachment to the rifle by attaching the hook to a bar on the rifle with a rifle lug that attaches to the opening on the top of the bayonet handle. Blued handle with bright fullered blade with serial number 9712 found in a recessed rectangle. All metal scabbard with leather belt loop attached. Very rare bayonet. New - Taiwanese T91 Bayonet
The Taiwanese made a bayonet similar to the US M9 model. It is marked T91 with Taiwanese characters on the right side of the blade and a serial number (i.e. 110342) with Taiwanese characters on the left side. Found with black plastic handle with sand blasted fullered sawback blade with wirecutter opening. Black plastic scabbard with sharpening stone and detachable belt attachment.
