Japanese 1866 Chassepot Bayonet
The French 1866 bayonet is made by P.D.L. (P. D. Luneschloss) with Japanese characters along the fuller of the blade. Brass handle with some patina with serial number 1735 on the crossguard. Yataghan fullered blade with some sharpening, cleaning and sharpening. Japanese leather scabbard with steel fittings with patina. Very rare bayonet. Rarity: R3+ Condition: VG+ Price: $800 |

N. Zealand 1873 Martini Henry Sawback Bayonet - 1st Pattern
This bayonet was made by Alex Coppel with no military acceptance markings for use as a Volunteer model. It has knurled leather grips held by 3 rivets with a leaf spring release with some light peppering. 18.1" long fullered sawback blade with some light sharpening and light peppering overall. Leather scabbard with steel fittings with some light peppering. Only about 2600 bayonets were made. Rarity: R3+ Condition: VG+ Price: $675 |

Russian 1936 Siminov AVS Bayonet
Very unusual bayonet with an unique locking mechanism to fit the Avtomaticheskaia Vintovka Simonova or AVS rifle (Simonov Automatic Rifle). Thin checkered wood grips held by one screw. Sliding handle which allows attachment to the rifle by attaching the hook to a bar on the rifle with a rifle lug that attaches to the opening on the top of the bayonet handle. Blued handle with bright fullered blade with serial number 9712 found in a recessed rectangle. All metal scabbard with leather belt loop attached. Very rare bayonet. New - Turkish 1920s German 1898/05 (Butcher) Full Length Bayonet
2nd pattern model with low ears and flashguard (nA model). Made by Waffenfabrik Mauser and dated W17 for Prussia. Turkish Arabic numbers (7184) with roman numbers 6665 on the other side. Wood grips with bright handle and crossguard. Full length fullered blade with staining and light sharpening with some hammering dings on the spine. Metal scabbard with patina with leather frog. These full length models were almost always made by Waffenfabrik Mauser (who had a supply contract with Turkey) and typically dated 1917-1918. Very few full length bayonets survived with most being cut-down by the Turks to the shorter blade lengths of 10". Rare. Rarity: R3 Condition: VG+ Price: $485 |
